Chongqing exhibitors achieved many firsts at Food Expo 2023. Among them, Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County Tufei Chicken Agricultural Development Co., Ltd surprised everyone with its first success as it has won an order of 100,000 free-range chickens from a Hong Kong catering giant and entered the Hong Kong market for the first time. Mulberry leaf-fed egg from Chongqing Ruisan Agricultural development Co., Ltd which made their first appearance outside Mainland China are welcomed by the Hong Kong market. Ruisan completed 80% of its sales target on the first day of the expo and formed partnerships with four Hong Kong companies. Focusing on eco technology, Chongqing Haozhiyu Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd uses polylactide biodegradable technology to produce tableware which is favored by buyers from Singapore, Canada and the US, generating overseas orders for the first time. Chongqing Yumaotong Technology Service Co. Ltd, which specialises in the supply chain of fresh fruits and vegetables, got an order for 90 tons of pomegranates. This order was confirmed during the fair period and Yumaotong has entered the Hong Kong market for the first time. Many other companies also have expressed their intention to cooperate with China Resources supermarkets and other Hong Kong and international distributors and signed orders.
