We have received good feedback from buyers coming from different countries and regions such as France, Korea, Russia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and the US. We have met with more than 60 buyers during the first two days of the fair and we expect 15-20 buyers are likely to place orders. The amount of new orders will reach US$100,000. It’s a good start. It’s very likely that we’ll come back to the fair next year.

So far, I have talked to more than 20 suppliers and identified five to six reliable suppliers. I have already placed an order worth US$13,000 with a smart home system supplier and bought US$6,300 worth of downlights from another supplier. I’ll place an order worth US$5,000-6,000 with a strip light supplier. A potential supplier of recessed spotlights will send me samples soon. I like the Autumn Lighting Fair because there are so many suppliers offering different products, new ideas and new designs.

ELEMAC is a wholesaler and supplier of electrical devices and lighting, with GCC countries as its major markets. I have visited the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo for several times. At this year’s twin fairs, I am looking for flood lights, stadium lights, high bay lights, solar lights and smart city lights. The twin fairs are huge and bring together a lot of suppliers and new products. At the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo, I have decided to buy US$700,000 worth of smart city lights from two suppliers. At the Autumn Lighting Fair, I have found two to three potential suppliers from Mainland China for the supply of stadium lights and multi-purpose solar lights with CCTV cameras and wireless charging function. I am still looking for new suppliers of recessed downlights, panel lights and high bay lights. I plan to place onsite orders worth US$300,000-350,000 at the Autumn Lighting Fair.

With two showrooms in Malaysia, we offer one-stop and customised lighting solutions to fit different projects such as hotels, villas and residential projects. I visit both the Autumn Lighting Fair and the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo to look for new products and new suppliers from different countries and regions. I have found 20-30 potential suppliers of architectural lighting, LED strips, decorative lighting and branded lighting at the Autumn Lighting Fair and 12-15 potential suppliers at the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo. I’ll visit their factories in December and plan to purchase US$200,000 worth of lighting products through the twin fairs.

In business for 30 years, Rábalux is one of the biggest lighting importers in Central and Eastern Europe. We have more than 2,000 different products. We visit the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair regularly to look for new ideas, new designs and new materials. Our company has employed three designers. We are looking for OEM manufacturers of LED ceiling lamps at this year’s Autumn Lighting Fair. We have found more interesting suppliers and more new designs this year as compared to previous editions. So far, we have identified 30-50 potential suppliers. We’ll place orders with three to four new suppliers for five containers of LED ceiling lamps worth around US$100,000 after the fair.

Established in 2014, my company not only assembles parts and components into decorative lamps and other luminaires but also supplies parts and components to lighting manufacturers in Brazil. This is my third time visiting both the Autumn Lighting Fair and the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo. I am looking for LED strips, parts and components for decorative lamps, LED drivers, PCBs and street lights. I have found several potential suppliers and will visit their factories after the twin fairs. I plan to buy US$13,800 worth of PCBs for making LED lamps, US$8,000 worth of LED strips and US$9,000 worth of street lights. The twin fairs look bigger this year with more exhibitors and more new designs. I find the new Scan2Match function very useful because I can use the HKTDC Marketplace App to scan the QR codes of exhibitors and bookmark their information.

With two companies in Argentina and the US respectively, Puro Iluminación is an importer, manufacturer and distributor of LED decorative lighting products. Lumpure is my own brand for ceiling lamps and pendant lights in contemporary styles. My main goal of visiting the Autumn Lighting Fair is to look for OEM manufacturers. I am so happy to have found more nice designs using a mix of different materials such as stones, marbles, alabaster and wood this year. So far, I have identified three to four potential suppliers of ceiling lamps, pendant lights, decorative wall lamps, desk lamps and floor lamps. I’ll place an order with a new supplier for US$60,000 worth of LED decorative ceiling lamps and also consider placing orders with other potential suppliers. The new Scan2Match function is very helpful, allowing me to add favourite suppliers in the HKTDC Marketplace App easily. The HKTDC’s Click2Match platform saves my time in setting up meetings with suppliers before coming to the fair.

Our company imports commercial lighting, residential lighting, industrial lighting and architectural lighting and sells to Africa, GCC countries and the US. I visit the Autumn Lighting Fair and the concurrent Outdoor and Tech Light Expo almost every year because these professional fairs organised by the HKTDC bring together quality suppliers and play a major role in improving my business. The meetings with suppliers arranged via the HKTDC’s Click2Match platform are excellent. At the Autumn Lighting Fair, I have found seven potential suppliers of panel lights, MR16 bulbs, GU10 bulbs, LED ceiling profiling, garage lights, wall decorative lights and ceiling decorative lights. I plan to place orders worth US$50,000 with different suppliers from this fair. At the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo, I’ll buy US$8,000-10,000 worth of street lights and solar lights from a new supplier. The twin shows are excellent.

Based in Vietnam, BKS Engineering is a designer, manufacturer and wholesaler of indoor and outdoor lighting products for commercial, residential and industrial applications. This is my fourth time visiting the Autumn Lighting Fair. I am here to look for parts and components, new designs and new technologies. I have seen many new technologies and many new products this year. I have identified five potential suppliers of LED drivers and fixtures from Hong Kong and Mainland China and one of them was found through the HKTDC’s Click2Match service. I have asked these potential suppliers to give me the best prices. The total amount of my trial orders will be around US$20,000.

Established in 2009, Winsan Jaya is an importer and wholesaler of LED lighting products for industrial, commercial and residential applications in Indonesia. This is my fourth time visiting the twin lighting fairs in Hong Kong to collect market information and look for new products and new suppliers. I have found eight potential suppliers of LED lighting products at the Autumn Lighting Fair and five potential suppliers of LED strip lights at the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo. I’ll place trial orders worth US$500-5,000 through the twin shows. I applaud the launch of Scan2Match in this fair. This new initiative makes it easier for me to keep company information and product information of different suppliers in the HKTDC Marketplace App.

Light-Pro operates a physical store in Singapore, selling lighting products and lifestyle products. Apart from selling decorative lighting and residential lighting, we also handle lighting projects for apartments, shops and shopping malls. I have been visiting the Autumn Lighting Fair every year since 2000. It is important for me to come here to know what’s new in the lighting market. At the fair, I have found two to three potential suppliers via the HKTDC’s Click2Match platform and met with six to seven old suppliers. I am interested in their LED bulbs, LED strips and decorative lighting. I’ll visit their factories in Zhongshan, Mainland China after the fair and it’s likely that I’ll place orders after factory visits. It is a pretty good show and the new Scan2Match function is useful.

In business for 24 years, Elite Lighting imports lighting products from Mainland China, Malaysia and Vietnam and sells to wholesalers, construction companies, contractors and designers in Canada and the US. I am looking for new designs and innovations for outdoor lighting, downlights and emergency drivers at the twin lighting fairs. New products are the key to keep our business moving. At the Autumn Lighting Fair, I am interested in a newly-designed 5-in-1 driver for use in magnetic tracks. At the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo, I have found two to three potential suppliers of outdoor lighting from Mainland China.
